Monthly artists and makers fairs in Caversham

The aim of our fairs is to showcase the work of artists and craftspeople from Caversham and the surrounding area.

We have an amazing array of talented people who would love to talk to you about what they do.  As well as tables full of handmade gifts for you to buy, we run make and take taster sessions so you can 'have a go' at a craft you may not have tried before.  There will be different activities suitable for both children and adults, happening each month.

Come and meet the artists and makers, view their work and maybe treat yourself, family and/or friends to something handmade and unique.

We also serve tea, coffee and homemade cake in our Lobby Cafe, with all proceeds from our hot drink sales going to local charities.  What more could you ask for?

Cakes for April:

We are still perusing the recipe books but Hummingbird Cake, Jammy Dodger Cupcakes, Gluten Free Chocolate Brownies, Vegan Victoria Sandwich, Chocolate Hazelnut Cake, Gluten & Dairy Free Apricot Almond Cake and Pasteis de Nata are on the list so far.

So, have a browse around the stalls and then a cup of tea or coffee and a slice of deliciousness. You can do it the other way around too if you like!

Last month we raised £100 in hot drink sales for the RBH League of Friends.  Thank you to everyone who purchased a drink!

This months charity is Launchpad & Fair Trade

Where to find us

Our fairs are on the second Saturday of the month - March, April, May and June, then following a much needed 2 month break, we will be back for September, October, November and December. Come and find us at Caversham Methodist Church Hall, Gosbrook Road, Caversham, RG4 8EB.  The hall is just under 650 meters from Waitrose heading along Gosbrook Road. Parking in the car park is limited but there is plenty of free parking in the surrounding streets.
